Senior camp is no longer accepting applications for summer 2024.

We will hold live auditions in New York City, Boston and western Massachusetts, as well as select auditions over zoom for applicants who are not able to travel to the audition. Please be in touch with us if none of these audition opportunities will work for your family.

Audition information

If the application deadline has passed, please be in touch with us to see if there are still audition openings for your instrument.

During the audition, applicants will be asked to play two selections of music (at least 6-10 minutes total) that demonstrate their musical range and abilities. The music may be from multiple pieces or from the same piece, as long as the selections show contrast in character and tempo.

Applicants will also be asked to sight read at the audition. Pianists will be given an excerpt to prepare 24 hours before the audition.

Each audition is generally ten minutes in length.

If the applicant would like to audition on multiple instruments, they may request one longer audition time for all instruments or a separate audition time for each instrument.
